From the Author
An easy, step by step guide to putting your CV together
Before I wrote this book I bought every other CV book I could lay my hands
on. Trawling through them I realised there were three important shortcomings
in what was available. First, some were simply UK editions of American books -
which is pretty useless as the conventions of putting a one page "resume"
together are irrelevant in the UK employment market. Second, there were
books full of example CV's - well I'm sorry, but we're all unique and you need
to know how to put together YOUR CV not someone elses's. Third, the content
may have been quite good in one or two books but they were boringly
presented with little or no visual content.

So, surprise surprise, you will find that "Creating a Successful CV" is easy to
read, full of useful tips and well illustrated. Perhaps most heartenly it has
received positive reviews from recruitment consultants and personnel
managers alike - the two most important audiences the job seeker needs to
convince. So if they like it, then it should help you find a better career. Oh,
and good luck in your job search.

  Thrilled with the CV.
Provided just what I
wanted even though
I only had a vague
idea of what that
was! Friendly and
efficient service that
was tailored to my
needs. Many thanks.
